To date we have had reports of:
- 1 customer experiencing issues with Elluminate.
- 1 School with 550 Macs experiencing issues with the GradeMax component of ISIS.
Both issues can be solved by prioritizing Java Runtime v 1.4.2 over other newer versions of Java.
To configure Java on your Mac to use version 1.4.2 preform the following tasks:
- Open Java Preferences. This can be found by going to: Macintosh HD:Applications:Utilities:Java
- Under the tab "General" reorder the preferred Java version so that J2SE 1.4.2 is at the top like the screenshot below.

This setting would need to be done per Mac OS X user if your Mac has been configured to use multiple accounts.
