The Inaugural Meeting of MELA

Media Educators of Los Angeles (MELA)

Open to Any and Everyone that Teaches Film, Video, Broadcasting, Animation & Screenwriting
Come for the Networking, Stay for the Raffle Prizes

Background:

Across Los Angeles, educators and professionals from the entertainment industry are training the next generation of screen professionals. Screenwriting, video and television production, animation, digital imaging, film analysis, editing, post production sound and marketing are just some of the skills that young people can develop while getting their high school diplomas. These educators, who have dedicated themselves to the best in professional training, have formed a network to share resources and reach out to the Industry in a big way. At our bi-monthly meetings, vendors, mentors and other professionals, give insights into the latest trends and best resources. MELA has organized to join as many educators and professionals as possible to work together, ensuring a diverse and well-trained workforce for the future.
